Proposed ICT services

NSW Procurement is completing a strategic review of its suite of ICT services agreements to seek improvement and efficiencies in the way it engages with the market. Following the review, interested service providers will be provided with an opportunity to supply to the government.

It is anticipated that the market engagement will happen before mid-2008 for the procurement of 'ICT Services'. ICT Services is expected to cover a broad range of services and once established is likely to replace the following contracts that are currently in operation for the services category alone.

  1. 2036 - Software Development Contractors.
  2. 2305 – Provision of Internet Services and Products
  3. 2351 – Unique ICT services and products
  4. 2319 – Information Security Services and Products
  5. 864 – Geographical Information Services
  6. 2067 – Site Telecommunications Cabling

Interested suppliers are encouraged to closely monitor the tenders website www.tenders.nsw.gov.au for any upcoming opportunities.
